Games, Yoga and Easter Decorating
During the first week of April our residents enjoyed playing games, a relaxing yoga class with Chris, and decorating Easter Wreaths made from wisteria twigs gathered in Cliffsend!
Vanessa was busy playing tricks on our residents on Saturday – April Fools Day!
She teased the residents that we’d have a therapy elephant visiting in the garden room; she asked them to bring a bucket. As you can see, she didn’t let the residents down; here’s Nellie playing chess much to Ron’s surprise!
Congratulations Arya!
Arya one of our Registered Nurses was the lucky winner for March`s Golden Moments. She was nominated for always being helpful, understanding and approachable to all staff, residents, families and visitors

Women’s Careers Day
Millie our Customer Relations Officer and Nicky one of our Health Care Assistants attended the Women`s Careers Day at Ursuline College today – An event that was organised by the college to inform their students of the different job roles that might be available to them.
Giving the students an insight into the roles within our home, what our job roles entail and what opportunities that could be open to them from going to work within the care sector. Thank you Ursuline for asking us to join you!
Last week we enjoyed entertainment by Debbie, we had a visit from Widdle & Bella, we got the craft box out to make decorations ready for the coronation next weekend and Marianna brought her Accordion to St Michaels and played for our residents room to room – this means a lot to our residents who do not like to join in, or are unable to join in with our group activities
