On Friday we had another visit from the Ursuline SVP Group. During this visit they helped our residents decorate cup cakes. Thank you for keeping up with your visits, our residents really look forward to them and enjoy your company! 🥰
Golden Moments Award
Congratulations to our Clinical Lead Nurse who was nominated for January`s Golden Moments award by all the residents here at St Michaels. Our Clinical Lead Nurse was nominated for being kind with the residents and supporting the staff 
GFitness
Last week we were joined by Mary from ‘GFitness’. She gave our residents an interactive and enjoyable seated exercise session.. we look forward to seeing Mary again soon! 
Live entertainment with Norman
Last week our residents enjoyed live music from Norman, thank you for entertaining us! 
Live entertainment with Lynn
No better way to start the week than with some live music. Lynn got our residents singing along to some of their favourite 1950s and 60’s songs.

Cookery Club
Cookery club seems to be one of our residents favourite activities. The saying ‘Too many cooks spoil the broth’ doesn’t apply at St Michaels; The more the merrier! 
On Wednesday afternoon we enjoyed making different varieties of fairy cakes, a total of 44 cakes in one afternoon. Keep an eye on our Facebook page & website to see what we bake next week!

So far this week our residents carried out a science experiment with skittles we held a Church of England Service in our chapel and enjoyed a valentines themed afternoon tea 
Flower arranging
Yesterday afternoon the ladies got together and enjoyed flower arranging and a game of scrabble 
Colin Wade` Comedy Show
Last week Colin Wade put on a Valentines Comedy Show for us.. he had us smiling and laughing for the whole afternoon. Thank you again Colin, we look forward to seeing you in the spring for another show 
Valentines Quiz with Fish & Chips from the chippy
On Friday afternoon we held a Valentines Quiz with Fish & Chips from the chippy for tea. What a brilliant afternoon this was! Congratulations to `Hold Your Horses Team` for coming first place in the quiz
