Every week we enjoy live entertainment 
On Thursday last week, we were joined by Aaron Ritchie who put on an Elvis Presley Vegas Years Show, he certainly had us `all shook up`!
Families are welcome to join their loved ones for our weekly entertainment, be sure to keep an eye on our noticeboards for dates and times.
We have recently launched a Golden Moments initiative here at St Michaels
These are golden tickets to showcase and share special moments that are seen between the staff here at St Michaels and our residents, which may not be otherwise truly celebrated or recorded.
Staff and residents can put in a golden moment they have seen themselves between other staff members and our residents, but we would also love for families to be involved and share any special moments they see too!
All you have to do is, make a note of a golden moment where you have seen a member of staff with either your loved one or another resident. Pop it on a golden ticket and place it in the box outside of the manager’s office.
All golden moments will be placed into a draw and a winner will be picked at the end of each month by our Home Manager Rema.

Congratulations Angela!
Angela was nominated for the Golden Moments award for September by our resident John.
John said that he was really appreciative of all Angela`s efforts in helping him practice walking whenever she has a minute or two, says she’s marvellous!
Together Again
After 5 months of being apart, on Monday we welcomed Derrick to our home to join his wife, Syliva!
What an amazing feeling to be able to bring families back together again and see the smile on their faces!
Harvest Festival 🥖
There was a full house for our Harvest Festival last week in our beautiful little Chapel here at St Michaels. Resident Sister Alma lead the prayers, whist staff members Sharon and Vanessa lead the readings and hymns.
Thank you for all your donations of food and money, we will be taking them all to the Kitchen Social in Cliftonville.

Colin Wade returned to make us giggle with his comedy and song show on yesterday afternoon in our beautiful sunny Garden Room
One-to-one time
In the mornings our activities team spend some one-to-one time with our residents. This week they have been flower arranging and playing a few games including head bands and snap.

Yesterday our entertainer unfortunately had to cancel, but we would just like to say a massive thank you to Louisa who dug out her speaker and microphone and took herself back to the days she used to perform on cruise ships and sang for our residents! As they say, the show must go on…
